Responsibilities:
* Execute the Quality System in a comprehensive manner including IATF 16949 requirements and customer-specific requirements.
* Lead troubleshooting processes when a customer problem has been reported and respond in the format and system requested by the customer.
* Lead troubleshooting processes when any quality indicator is off target or continuous improvement is required.
* Define, audit, and manage the control plan and compliance with the requirements documented therein.
* Provide support to the different departments on the application of troubleshooting methodologies.
* Update assigned quality indicators on a weekly and monthly basis.
* Participate in the APQP process according to internal and customer requirements in conjunction with CQE / CQA.
* Define tests, methods, and measuring instruments required for product control in conjunction with CQE / CQA.
* Decide the disposition to non-conforming material according to Thyssenkrupp Bilstein procedures.
* Participate in assigned product or process audits.
* Perform annual validations of Red Rabbits according to laboratory plan.
* Perform R&R studies on measuring equipment in the manufacturing process.
* Provide complete, clear, and timely notification of product non-conformances to internal suppliers and Incoming Inspection team.
* Notify (in conjunction with MPP) design areas of errors or design change requirements.
* Participate in all scheduled company training and provide training on quality issues.
* Comply with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 requirements.
* Comply with environmental policy and objectives. Know the environmental aspects and impacts, as well as the emergency plan.
Minimum Requirements:
* Industrial, mechanical, electromechanical, or similar engineering.
* 4 or more years of experience in the position in the automotive industry.
* Knowledge of tests, methods, and measuring instruments such as: Vernier, height gauges, micrometers, optical comparator, microscopes, etc.
* Advanced English: Able to maintain business conversations verbally and in writing.
* Expert in the use and implementation of Coretools.
* Desirable internal auditor in IATF 16949, VDA, and/or ISO 14001.
* High experience in problem-solving methodologies such as: 8Ds, A3, QRQC, Ishikawa, 5-ques, Kepner Tregoe, 6 Sigma, or others.
* SAP management.
