As Engineering Senior Project Engineer, you will:
* Develop and define the project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
* Create detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines.
* Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure technical requirements are met.
* Align the project with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
* Ensure stakeholders have realistic expectations about project outcomes, timelines, and resources.
* Identify potential risks (technical, financial, etc.) and develop mitigation plans.
* Proactively manage and resolve technical issues or obstacles during project execution.
* Ensure that engineering designs and project deliverables meet technical specifications and quality standards.
* Ensure the project is executed on time, within scope, and according to the plan.
* Allocate and manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
* Serve as the primary point of contact between engineering teams, management, and other stakeholders.
* Ensure precision in planning, resource allocation, and project execution to avoid costly errors or delays.
* Oversee and coordinate with third-party contractors and suppliers.
* Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate the project's success, identify lessons learned, and suggest areas for improvement.
Behind our innovation…There’s you:
* Licence or master’s degree in engineering (Process, Industrial, Pharmaceutical Engineering or equivalent).
* Minimum 7 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry with demonstrated project execution experience.
* Project management certification like PMP or Prince2 is a must.
* Experience in relevant GMP subjects (e.g., EU, FDA, Japan).
* Good command of English and fluent in local language.
* Experience managing budgets to ensure the move stays within financial constraints and finding cost-effective solutions without sacrificing quality.
Technical Skills:
* Proficient in project management software such as Microsoft Office, MS Project, etc.
* Ability to work with CAD software for designing and modelling systems or structures such as AutoCAD, Solidworks.
* Experience using FMEA methodology to anticipate and prevent potential failures in systems or processes.
* Ability to produce clear and concise technical documentation, including project reports, risk assessments, technical specifications, and engineering guidelines.
* Familiarity with best practices and technical standards in the pharmaceutical domain.
* Proficient in creating and interpreting Gantt charts to track project progress and timelines.
* Understanding of cost estimations, budgeting for resources, and the financial aspects of engineering projects.
* Familiarity with testing methods, equipment, and procedures to validate designs and processes.
* Using data analytics and metrics to track project progress, resource allocation, and team performance (e.g., KPIs).
Soft Skills:
* Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
* Producing clear reports, project documentation, and emails.
* Ability to guide and motivate a diverse engineering team to achieve project goals.
* Ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions.
* Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Skillful in prioritizing tasks, setting timelines, and ensuring project milestones are met while delegating responsibilities appropriately.
* Effectively manage and resolve conflicts between team members or departments.
* Understand and manage your own emotions, particularly during stressful project phases.
* Work with stakeholders to align expectations, manage scope, and address project changes.
* Make well-informed decisions, often under pressure, while considering the impact on both short-term project needs and long-term goals.
* Ability to bounce back from setbacks and stay motivated despite challenges.
