Client Onboarding KYC Specialist (100%, m/w/d) - 12 months Geneva (CH)

Responsibilities
1. First point of contact for Relationship Managers for all types of due diligence and AML related queries for client prospecting, onboarding, and lifecycle management.
2. Identify money laundering, sanctions, reputational and other business risks.
3. Define controls and measures to mitigate risks.
4. Prepare risk assessment reports for account openings.
5. Enable and facilitate clear and constructive communication between Relationship Managers and Compliance.
Your profile
1. Experience of at least 3-5 years as a business risk manager (first line of defense) or compliance officer in the international business area in a Swiss private bank.
2. Higher education such as a Master's degree in law or economics, due diligence (compliance) certification or similar education.
3. Substantial understanding of the regulatory environment and experience with KYC of business relationships with increased risks. In-depth market knowledge of the Middle East Africa (MEA) region is an advantage.
4. Reliable, responsible and risk-aware, analytical mindset, good communication skills and a conscientious working style.
5. Team-oriented, flexible and able to work under pressure.
6. Very good knowledge of French and English. Arabic or any other language skills is an advantage.
