Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst with expertise in PowerBI and SQL to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing dashboards for finance, controlling, and sales, engineering data solutions, and integrating various data sources. You will play a critical role in transforming data into actionable insights, helping the business make informed decisions. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, a basic understanding of finance and sales, and effective communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and build PowerBI dashboards primarily for finance, controlling, and sales functions.
* Perform SQL data engineering tasks, including data extraction, transformation, and loading for PowerBI.
* Utilize Microsoft Fabric to integrate databases into PowerBI, enhancing data accessibility and dashboard functionalities.
* Collaborate with finance and sales teams to understand and align on data needs and KPIs.
* Support API integration solutions to optimize data flow towards PowerBI.
* Maintain accurate documentation of data processes and dashboard configurations.
Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements:
* Basic understanding of finance, controlling, and sales processes.
* Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Microsoft Fabric for data integration.
* Basic programming knowledge.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Excellent communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
* Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
* Fluency in German.
* Understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
* Advanced finance expertise, particularly in KPI and controlling development.
* Experience with KPI creation and controlling metrics.
