We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Officer to join our client, a prestigious Swiss private bank. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and enhancing the risk and control framework within the organization. Location: Switzerland Key Responsibilities: Continuously improve and uphold the risk and control framework, encompassing Internal Control Systems (ICS), Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Operational Risk (OpRisk), and Business Continuity Management (BCM). Monitor and control risk profiles and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements at both the fund management company and Swiss investment funds levels as part of the second line of defense. Prepare regular and ad-hoc risk reports (covering FX, liquidity, market, credit, and operational risks) for the Head of Risk Management & Controls, as well as various committees and boards. Oversee the outsourcing framework, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation. Coordinate and manage ad-hoc tasks, including those related to the PRIIPs Key Information Document (KID) production process. Support or lead internal projects, process management, and fund product initiatives. Conduct ad-hoc reviews and participate in risk management and fund-related initiatives. Candidate Profile: Higher education degree in business administration, economics, or a related field. Professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM, or equivalent risk management training are advantageous. A minimum of three years of experience in risk management within the financial industry, preferably in asset management or investment funds. Strong analytical mindset with a meticulous approach, demonstrating flexibility and independence in your work. A collaborative team player who takes full ownership of tasks and responsibilities. Solution-oriented with a pragmatic approach, willing to work closely with colleagues and stakeholders, both internally and externally. Ability to thrive under pressure, prioritize tasks effectively, and make clear decisions. Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and German; proficiency in French is a plus.
