We’re looking for a flexible R&D Operations Project Administrator to support our Research & Development Operations team. If you are adaptable, fluent in German, enjoy variety, have a strong customer focus, and are comfortable with digital tools, this is your chance to make a difference. You will take on diverse tasks, optimize existing work processes in R&D and act as a bridge between Research and various internal partners such as Procurement, Safety Health & Environment and Site Management to bring innovation forward. Your key responsibilities:
* Assist with general administrative tasks (oversee R&D contracts, orders and services, organize meetings, events, visits, courses, publish internal reports, announcements, etc).
* Contribute to the R&D Innovation Supply chain: Order chemicals, lab & office supplies, instruments; support insurance of central laboratory consumable storage to be adequately stocked with recurrent items.
* Organize and schedule basic laboratory instrument and infrastructure maintenance, ensure adequate documentation.
* Facilitate communication around Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) matters of global relevance for laboratories as well as support implementing local SHE systems and procedures.
* Provide ICT (Information & Communication technology) support to the R&D Innovation teams to enable a smooth flow of information across the community.
* Support local sample management within R&D Innovation and liaise with external service providers (contracts, sample coordination, communication, logistics).

You bring:
* Deep understanding of practical aspects of working in research laboratories and offices.
* Fluent in German, good command of English. Working knowledge of French is an asset. A problem solving mindset, looking for practical solutions, proactivity, attention to details, drive to challenge status quo, absolute customer focus.
