A Regional Operations Controller with the global leader in the creation of Taste & Wellbeing and Fragrance & Beauty, an important member of our Fragrance & Beauty Division Controlling team, and based in our Vernier office in Switzerland - Your future position?
We are now hiring a ‘Regional Operations Controller’ to support Operations Controlling for our Fragrance & Beauty Operations sites across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region, including India.
You will be the ‘co-pilot’ to the Fragrance & Beauty Head of EMEA Operations by providing the necessary business insight to achieve the business plan. Support the strategy and development of the regional business plan by providing insight into the KPIs and their drivers and by proactively challenging the business partners. This is in collaboration with the network of Site Controllers, the Operations teams, and the various Centre of Excellence teams (e.g. Continuous Improvement).
The role is based in our Vernier office in Switzerland, will have 3-4 direct reports, and will report to the Fragrance & Beauty Global Operations Controller. The role offers excellent opportunities for both personal and professional development.
In this exciting role, you will be responsible for -
1. Business partnering: Make sure that the Operations teams are aware of all the risks and opportunities that can impact the performance of operations, propose mitigation actions, and ensure the execution of these actions after alignment.
2. Business insight: Provide Operations Management with interpretive and predictive operational and financial information on which to make business decisions. Perform ad-hoc and pro-active analyses of the region’s monthly KPIs and provide Operational Management with business performance insights.
3. Investments: Drive the investment process within the region, including validation of the business cases, ensuring approval and following up on executed investments to stay within scope and budget.
4. Management of Site Controllers: Responsible for the Operations controlling network in EMEA, providing clear guidance, setting priorities, developing the team and making sure that the controllers operate as business partners to the Site Operations teams.
5. Budget Cycle: Lead the regional annual operations budget process in line with global guidance and the regional business plan.

Your professional profile includes:
* Degree in accounting, finance, or economics or a professional accountancy qualification.
* 8+ years’ experience in controlling function.
* 3+ years of solid track record in leadership and people management roles.
* Experience with a global manufacturing organisation with cross-regional exposure is preferable.
* Familiarity with the SAP FICO environment and tools.
* A team player and comfortable with diversity.
