Your Responsibilities As a Senior Software Engineer Motor Control, you will be responsible for the design, simulation, development, testing, and maintenance of converter control software as part of our Smart Control Software team in Ebikon, Luzern, Switzerland. Your new challenges include: Designing, simulating, implementing, documenting, and testing control software for elevator drives, as well as modulation methods for frequency converters. Designing, developing, and maintaining embedded software for use in real-time control systems. Analyzing user needs and developing software requirement specifications. Developing designs for new software features and capabilities while defining interfaces considering the overall architecture and constraints. Ensuring the quality of implemented functionality by performing code reviews, as well as manual and automated unit and integration tests. Maintaining existing software components and systems by implementing defect fixes and improvements and performing refactorings. We Elevate... Further requirements may include: Master’s degree in electrical and hardware engineering, software controls, or similar. Proven experience designing embedded real-time software running on DSP, ARM CPU. Solid knowledge of control theory, linear control design, MATLAB/Simulink, and Hardware-in-the-Loop PLECS simulation.
