POSITION DESCRIPTION:
We currently have a position open for a Marketing Operations Manager to implement, execute and direct/manage the key projects for current and future VIVUS medicines commercialized in Europe.
In this hands-on position, you will report to the Managing Director, Europe.
Specific responsibilities, in alignment and coordination with the Managing Director, Europe, and other relevant functions, include but are not limited to:
* Analytics
o Support the US team by providing IQVIA data sheets (European sales)
o Assess trends and evolution of each single country’s market
o Report VIVUS products performance vs competitors (growth, market share, evolution index)
o Report on the CRM tool (VEEVA) insights
* Lead the execution of all relevant marketing projects aimed at VIVUS medicines commercialization.
* Manage and negotiate with the agencies engaged in marketing activities.
* Coordinate and manage the activities of the European Promotional Review Committee.
* Supervise the execution of activities in cooperation with the appointed agencies to ensure seamless delivery and respect of timelines.
* Track the sales and marketing budgets ensuring no diversion throughout the fiscal year.
* Update the Customers Relationship Tool in cooperation with VEEVA.
* In cooperation with local VIVUS representatives and the Medical Affair Dept, provide brand communication to support all countries' medical activities such as round tables, local events/conferences, advisory boards.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* No reports are foreseen for this position in the medium period.
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
Education:
* BS/BA or MS/MA degree in marketing, economics or biosciences.
* Fluency in English is required. Good knowledge of other European languages adds value.
Experience:
* 5-8 years in small-mid size organizations or start-up, either biotech or pharmaceuticals is a must.
* Residency in Switzerland is required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
* 5-8 years in small-mid size organizations or start-up, either biotech or pharmaceuticals with at least 3 years of contribution in building organizations.
* Working knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing, compliance, laws and regulations affecting the pharmaceutical industry.
* Project management and ability to follow up ensuring timelines are matched.
* Guides the successful completion of major programs and projects.
* Ability to manage and understand contracts between pharmaceutical companies and third parties such as agencies.
* Uses expertise or unique knowledge and skills to contribute to achieve goals in creative and effective ways.
* Has a good knowledge of other related disciplines.
* Clear communication skills.
