We are looking for an: Chef de Partie with 100% work capacity, who will be pare preparing menus in collaboration with colleagues and ensuring adequacy of supplies at the cooking stations. You are preparing ingredients that should be frequently available (vegetables, spices etc.).
As Chef de Partie you amaze the patrons of our establishment with excellent cooking according to the chef’s recipes and specifications. Your work will be an important factor to a client’s contentment. The ultimate goal is to expand our clientele and reputation to ensure long-term success.
Responsibilities:
* Actively involved in production & platting of dishes.
* Following HACCP and other processes according to company guidelines.
* Ordering and maintaining stock of supplies
* Assisting the sous chef with menu planning.
* Prepare menus in collaboration with colleagues
* Ensure adequacy of supplies at the cooking stations
* Prepare ingredients that should be frequently available (vegetables, spices etc.)
* Follow the guidance of the executive or sous chef and have input in new ways of presentation or dishes
* Put effort in optimizing the cooking process with attention to speed and quality
* Enforce strict health and hygiene standards according to HACCP standards
* Help to maintain a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation
Your Profile:
* Experienced in handling meats and fish
* Organising and planning of your section
* Being innovative and progressive
* Ability to cook dishes of any cuisine
* Proven experience in a Chef de Partie role
* Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes
* Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
* Knowledge of best cooking practices
* Culinary diploma
Requirements:
* Applicants must already reside in Switzerland.
* Profiles with a valid Swiss passport or Swiss work permit (B/C) will be only considered.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: CHF43’000.00 - CHF60’000.00 per year

Education:
* High school or equivalent (Required)

* Kitchen: 3 years (Required)
