Ingredient Process Safety Manager - Your next role?
As an Ingredient Process Safety Manager, you will act as Subject Matter Expert to develop and implement policies, processes and systems. You will also ensure systematic application of harmonized methodologies and promote the EHS culture across the organization.
You will directly report to the EHS Director Natur. Eur. & Global Ingr. F&B and you will be based in Vernier, Switzerland (hybrid role).
Your scope will be for Fragrance and Beauty Ingredient activities initially focusing on our Vernier Ingredient location and in this exciting role, your main responsibilities will be:
1. Manage the chemical process safety program.
2. Ensure corporate and legal chemical process safety standards are enforced.
3. Lead process risk identification and assessment in partnership with operations.
4. Support the development, prioritization, and implementation of risk assessment actions.
5. Partner with operations on process safety aspects, providing guidance and expertise on chemical process safety design.
6. Represent Fragrance and Beauty Ingredient locations on the corporate process safety champion network.
7. Work with the Corporate CoE EHS Process Safety Group to implement or further develop the risk analysis methodology, process safety guidance, technical guidelines, and the process safety culture.
Your successful profile includes:
1. University degree in chemistry / chemical engineering or any equivalent.
2. 5 or more years of experience in the field of Process Safety in the chemical industry.
3. Manufacturing or engineering project management experience.
4. Fluent in French and English, Spanish ideally.
5. Experience working in a multicultural environment and a matrix organization.
6. Customer-focused, with an inclusive mindset.
