Job Description - Shopper Development Manager (2407026319W)
Based in UK or Switzerland
The Shopper Development Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategies and plans that drive shopper engagement and sales growth for our Essential Health brands. This role involves close collaboration with Marketing, Brand Activation, and Shopper teams to ensure excellence in execution in a consistent way.
Responsibilities
1. Crafting the in-store executional strategy that reflects the brand strategy, tailored to the shopper journey.
2. Leading centrally the POP materials production to ensure consistency across markets and drive economies of scale.
3. Working closely with all core markets as the key stakeholder to support and guide on the locally produced POP materials and in-store communication.
4. Deploying the globally developed Shopper Marketing Toolkits and developing regional toolkits when required (i.e., regional brands/assortment, cover needs different from the Global ones, specific customer asks, etc.).
5. Working closely with BTL agencies to develop launch kits, support the launch of NPI’s, educational assets for Pharmacists or Pharmacy assistants, to drive education and endorsement, as well as leaflets for merchandisers to drive consistent in-store communication and sales.
6. Develop in-store materials beyond POP, i.e., leaflets, content for in-store digital screens, etc.
7. Delivering & developing Perfect Store guidelines for the respective category, from ranging recommendations, driving the right high GP mix of codes, planogramming & merchandising guidelines.
8. Working closely with markets and Consumer & Business Insights team to monitor distribution & define distribution targets for existing ranges and NPI’s.
9. Working closely with the Global Brand Development Teams to develop a launch kit with every innovation and sharing the pipe of those toolkits with countries.
10. Deploying and adjusting, when needed, the globally developed trade stories that allow the countries to have a better customer plan by explaining how this will impact category growth.
11. Develop selling story for Regional Brands/priorities.
12. Stay up-to-date with industry & consumer trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in shopper marketing.
13. A self-starter with the demonstrated ability to take initiative, who can proactively identify issues/opportunities and recommend actions.
14. Very strong shopper and category expertise. Sales and marketing background is a plus.
Qualifications
1. University degree in Business administration or respective studies.
2. Experience from a multi-national or regional company in preferably FMCG, marketing/shopper marketing/customer development.
3. Skilled in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
4. Strong strategic thinking & solid helicopter view.
5. Team player & demonstrate leadership.
6. Strong written & oral communication skills and presentation skills.
7. Well-structured, focused & setting clear priorities.
8. Fluent in English.
