Position: Rota Nanny/Household Manager
Location: Verbier, Switzerland
Description: A UK/French client in Verbier seeks a compassionate and professional rota nanny/household manager for a 10-year-old girl who lives with her father. The girl attends school full-time and maintains an active schedule with numerous extracurricular activities, including skiing, horseback riding, and other sports. We seek someone with the ability to build a warm, positive connection with her, while also upholding a strong sense of organization and commitment.
Rota: 5/6 days on, 5/6 days off, with a schedule to be coordinated with another nanny.
Accommodation: Accommodation & car provided (no flights included).
Qualifications:

* Experienced with Older Children: Skilled in engaging, inspiring, and guiding older children with sensitivity and positive energy.
* Encourages Learning Through Play: Able to plan educational, fun activities that encourage curiosity and growth.

Primary Responsibilities:
* Providing a loving, stimulating environment that addresses the child’s social, emotional, and physical needs.
* Assisting with schoolwork to ensure homework is completed accurately and on time.
* Liaising with teachers as needed to support the child’s development.
* Scheduling regular doctor and dentist visits.
* Organizing the child’s bedroom and play areas.
* Preparing nutritious meals and snacks.
* Arranging age-appropriate outings and activities.
* Managing school runs and transport to activities, including airport and train station trips as needed.
* Traveling with the family as required for vacations and trips.
* Supporting bedtime routines, including reading and settling the child for sleep.
* Managing the child’s laundry.
* Running household errands, including shopping as needed.
Qualifications:
* Clean, valid driver’s license.
* Proven experience working with children in similar roles, particularly with active, school-aged children.
* A caring, responsible demeanor with the ability to provide structure and encouragement.
* Relevant childcare certifications and/or first-aid training are a plus.
