Senior Process Engineer - Validation (m/f/d) 100%
Location: Grenchen
Type of Contract: fixed-term employment, until the end of December 2025

JOB SUMMARY
As a Senior Process Engineer - Validation, you will be responsible for the development and execution of validation strategies and serve as subject matter expert for validations of finish and bulk processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop and define qualification/validation strategies along the equipment lifecycle from equipment commissioning (FAT, SAT) and implementation (IQ, OQ, PQ) up to equipment retirement for new product introductions and LCM portfolio.
* Develop process validation protocols and reports in CNC and Finish processes.
* Lead validations for finish & bulk processes as subject matter expert (anodization, electropolishing, passivation, cleaning & laser etching).
* Support the development of stable and reliable processes by performing engineering studies.
* Manage changes to equipment specifications and documentation.
* Perform statistical data analysis using MiniTab Software.
* Serve as core team member responsible for all validation activities in LCM and NPI projects and coordinate activities with other departments and customer quality.
* Encourage open communication and exchange of information within the department and between the various support groups.
* Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
* Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
YOUR BACKGROUND
* Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering field (mechanical, chemical, biomedical). Master degree is preferred.
* Good technical understanding, advanced analytical skills and solid knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).
* Experience in Finish process validation such as electropolishing, cleaning, anodization and passivation.
* At least 5 years of experience in relevant field.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Fluent in English. German is a plus.
