We are looking for an IT Site Lead for the day-to-day technical operations by providing support and maintenance for software, hardware on the sites in Switzerland and support business continuity. The position is based in Jona, Switzerland and will also support our office in Zug.
Accountabilities
* Overseeing and maintaining essential IT operations, including operating systems, ERP, security tools, applications.
* Implementing the Global Ammega IT Policies in the local sites maintaining the compliance.
* Supporting the local Business Continuity.
* Owning the local IT Projects and actions required to improve the compliancy and Business Continuity.
* Facilitating the rollout of the Ammega Global Projects.
* Reporting IT Incidents, risks, resource gap, status to the Ammega IT Hierarchy according to the organization and received guidelines.
* Managing the local IT Vendors.
* Managing the local Stakeholder.
* Preserving IT assets, information security and control structures.
* Handling annual local IT budget and ensure cost effectiveness in full alignment with the IT Hierarchy and Finance.
* Respond to incoming technical support requests via phone, email, and chat.
* Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical problems such as network connectivity, software installation, and hardware issues.
* Provide first-level support for software applications and operating systems.
* Provide individual instruction and/or training to users on new or updated technologies.
* Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT support staff when necessary.
* Follow established processes and procedures for service request management.
* Continuously develop technical knowledge and skills to stay current with new technologies and software.
* Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours support as required.
* Assist in maintaining inventory of IT assets and supplies
Requirements
* IT degree in technology or computer science; at least 3 years of technical experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
* knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
* Familiarity with ticket tracking systems and remote desktop tools.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
* Occasional travel to the Office in Zug.
