Koch Minerals & Trading is seeking a Credit Analyst to join our team! This position will play a key role in supporting Koch Minerals & Trading's global commodity trading businesses. The role will work closely with internal commercial and support team members globally, along with counterparties' various finance professionals.

Our Global Credit Team is an experienced group of credit professionals partnering with trading teams located throughout the U.S., London, Geneva, Lugano, and Singapore. * Fostering mutually beneficial relationships with internal and external customers.
* Optimizing profitable risk taking to facilitate execution of trading and growth strategies.
* Applying Koch frameworks to properly assess return on risk & capital.
* Providing transparency on risks and proactively mitigating when profitable.
* Focusing on integrated risk management approach by applying an enterprise view to optimize across market, credit, & liquidity risk.
What You Will Do
* Develop solid understanding of new and existing counterparty credit risk profiles and industry sectors.
* Identify and communicate credit risk drivers and exhibit sound judgment to support credit exposure decisions.
* Build and maintain relationships with counterparties to support credit term and agreement negotiations and credit risk analysis.
* Recommend and approve credit limits supported by the risk point of view.
* Manage counterparty exposures within approved limits, including by obtaining letters of credit and other collateral.
* Develop and implement improvements to credit systems, processes, and analytics.
* Perform Anti-Money Laundering (AML) / Know Your Customer (KYC) vetting on counterparties and reply to incoming AML/KYC requests.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or other business-related field.
* Experience analyzing corporate financial statements (professional or academic setting) or strong accounting knowledge.
* Ability to work in a highly demanding and fast-moving trading environment subject to constant change.
* Able to manage multiple internal and external working relationships.
* Strong critical thinking skills, high level of initiative, and intellectual curiosity.
* Demonstrated ability to solve problems and implement solutions.
* Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills as you will be working with others in KM&T's Credit group and CFO organization, KM&T traders, and external counterparties.
What Will Put You Ahead
* Credit analysis experience at a commodity trading firm, commodity marketer or producer, or bank active in commodities.
* Experience with financial derivatives and related credit risks.
* Good understanding of accounting principles.
* Experience developing solutions in PowerBI, PowerQuery, Alteryx, or similar tools.
* Spanish, German, French, or Mandarin language proficiency.
* Experience negotiating commodity contract terms.
