On behalf of our client, a multinational industrial company, we are looking for a Junior Buyer (for a fixed-term contract of six months).
Responsibilities:
1. Support, develop and implement purchasing strategies for managed categories.
2. Perform quotation analyses and evaluation based on a set of defined criteria in order to prepare awarding recommendations.
3. Negotiate with suppliers.
4. Draft, administrate and update contracts with suppliers.
5. Manage claims.
6. Create and maintain supplier data.
7. Identify and realize cost saving potentials.
8. Ensure compliance with internal and external guidelines and requirements.
9. Proactive supplier management.
Qualifications:
1. Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent education.
2. 1-2 years of experience in the role.
3. Experience in productive plants.
4. SAP knowledge is a strong requirement.
5. Microsoft Access and Office Package knowledge.
6. Fluent in English and Italian.
7. Enthusiasm, intercultural competence, strong communication skills, teamwork ability, assertiveness, and flexibility will complete the profile.
