Overview:
Job Summary (Primary function)
The Senior Manager ERP Tech Ops IT will report to the Associate Director ERP Tech Ops and will be responsible for SDLC and ITSM activities associated with the Incyte SAP Ecosystem (primarily SAP S/4HANA). The primary SAP areas of focus for this role will be SAP Production Planning and Execution (including Detailed Scheduling), Quality Management and overall integration design with other SAP modules for internal and external (subcontract) manufacturing (Direct Procurement, Materials Management, Inventory Management, Enterprise Warehouse Management, Logistics Execution and Master Data Governance for Materials).
The individual will identify and promote continuous improvement opportunities to enable SAP functionality/capability that will enhance and/or optimize business processes following all relevant SOPs and internal controls to ensure compliance with security, financial, legal, and regulatory requirements. Presence on site 4 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
* Execute continuous improvements and projects and operational support activities related to areas of responsibility in job summary above - SAP Production Planning and Execution, Quality Management and overall integration design with other SAP modules for internal and external (subcontract) manufacturing (Direct Procurement/ Materials Management, Inventory Management, Enterprise Warehouse Management, Logistics Execution and Master Data Governance for materials).
* Manage SAP IT resources and their deliverables for projects and managed services with external vendors for areas of responsibility.
* Author and/or Review/Approve SAP user requirements, design specs, transports, test scripts, test results, project plans and change records for areas of responsibility.
* Coordinate UAT execution with business team and technical experts.
* Function as IT SME (Subject Matter Expert) on Change Controls and Deviations (Pharma regulatory requirement) and provide relevant inputs (Change Impact Assessments, Deviation Investigations, Root Cause Analysis, Corrective and Preventive Actions) for Computer Systems Validation of SAP functional/technical changes for areas of responsibility.
* Participate and contribute on cross-functional teams including non-SAP IT and Business teams and third-party technology and service providers as needed to coordinate and support existing operations and new initiatives.
* Work collaboratively with key external and internal stakeholders to understand the challenges, needs and opportunities and then define and implement an optimal course of action.
* Proven ability to translate business requirements and processes into detailed system designs and SDLC documents.
* Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills including the ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms. Individual must have a thorough understanding of the main business processes within Supply Chain and Manufacturing.
* Demonstrates strong knowledge and application of testing strategies, methodologies and has been responsible for executing unit, integration and user acceptance testing.
* Team player with good verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate clearly, ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and take direct requests from business and IT colleagues, able to provide end user training as needed.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor degree required in Information Technology or related field.
* Minimum of ten years of proven SAP experience overall with a minimum of two years of SAP S/4HANA experience.
* Experienced in working on a multi-disciplinary SAP team in a geographically distributed and culturally diverse environment.
* Must speak English and French fluently.
