Job Responsibilities
* Perform technical inspections of engine assemblies, modules, piece parts on schedule (PW1100G-JM)
* Create repair orders for assemblies and individual parts
* Request and execute engine modifications
* Control of executed modifications and configuration on single parts and assemblies
* Perform assigned work on time and ensure quality of work
* Apply Lean Six Sigma (Lean Events, 5S, Root Cause Analysis)
* Continuously improve processes to be executed with the aim of improving quality and safety
* Environmentally conscious handling of operating equipment (resources)
* Measure control of the assemblies in mounted condition
* Timely execution and independent self-control of performed orders
* Documenting activities assigned in accordance with regulations
* Perform internal audits (eg. 5S audits) and in-time implementation of the defined actions
Your Profile
* Completed vocational training, preferably specialized in metal (polymechanics, plant and equipment engineers, machine mechanics, or equivalent)
* 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience within the Aviation MRO industry
* Preferably authorized to certify engines under EASA part 145/ part 66
* Willingness to work in two shifts and flexibility to work on weekends
* Ability to carry out assigned tasks independently, precisely and in a responsible manner
* Open-minded and dedicated team player with good communication skills
* High safety, quality and cost awareness
* Knowledgeable in MS office and SAP experience
* Knowledge of English language (level B1); knowledge of German is a plus
