You are a core member of the service team and the main source of technical inputs.
Your main responsibility is to define the maintenance activities required to keep the power plant competitive and reliable for the whole duration of the service contracts. Thanks to your broad knowledge of rotating equipment of combined cycle power plants, you also contribute to the resolution of technical issues and support the tendering activities for service products.
Your tasks:
1. Overall scope definition of gas turbine, generators, steam turbines and respective auxiliary systems maintenance activities for all types of inspections, overhauls and upgrade projects in coordination with dedicated service teams.
2. Single technical point of contact for customers.
3. Involving and coordinating specialists and engineering resources based on need.
4. Actively contribute to the resolution of all types of fleet and site-specific technical issues.
5. Technical support during inspection execution.
6. Ensure completeness and correctness of the delivered technical documentation.
7. Contribute to the improvement of the effectiveness and efficiency of the maintenance planning and technical support processes.
8. Contribute to the improvement of the effectiveness of the Service Engineering and Product management team and processes.
9. Contribute to EHS targets.
Your profile:
1. University degree in Engineering or equivalent education.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering, erection, commissioning, or service of Combined Cycle power plants.
3. Knowledge of gas turbine main components and operation principles, preferably GT26 and GT36.
4. Experience in field service of power stations is desirable.
5. Experience in operation and maintenance of power stations is desirable.
6. Proven Project Management skills: focus, structure, organization, discipline, planning, collaboration & coordination, prioritization, sticking to deadlines and commitments, negotiations.
7. Analytical, result-driven, and proactive way of working and acting.
8. Communicative team player with intercultural competence.
9. Stress resistant.
10. Open to answer customers outside of working hours.
11. Willing to travel up to 10% of the time to customer sites.
12. Excellent command of English; further knowledge of Italian/German/French would be an asset.
