Service presentation:
The Director of Studies’ Office plays a vital role in supporting and assisting the Director of Studies, who oversees all academic programs, including Master's, PhD, and international programs (such as exchange programs, BA/MA pathways, summer schools, and more). The Office is instrumental in designing and implementing recruitment and teaching policies. In close collaboration with Student Services, it ensures that students experience an enriching academic and personal journey, with optimal conditions and support, from the start to the completion of their studies at the Institute.
Your role:
* Develop and strengthen the strategy for relations and partnerships with other academic institutions;
* Coordinate existing international programs;
* Coordinate the policy for promoting master’s and PhD programs and student recruitment activities;
* Contribute to the effective functioning of the Directorate of Studies.
Your main responsibilities:
Partnerships
* Identify and establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions worldwide.
* Collaborate with the legal advisor to draft and validate partnership agreements.
* Maintain strong relationships with partners through regular meetings, site visits, and networking events.
* Monitor and evaluate the implementation and outcomes of partnerships.
International Programmes
* Analyse data on international education trends and best practices.
* Design relevant and attractive new programmes aligned with the Directorate’s strategy.
* Oversee internal and external promotion and development of international programmes.
* Ensure programmes meet quality standards and address students’ needs.
Academic Programme Marketing
* Contribute to a multi-year strategy for promoting MA and PhD programmes.
* Coordinate recruitment efforts across departments within budget.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have/be:
* Master’s degree in a relevant discipline from the Institute; a degree in marketing is an asset.
* 4 to 6 years of professional experience in a relevant field.
* Proficiency in both French and English, written and spoken (C1 level).
* Proficiency in standard office software and other relevant technologies for the role.
* Good knowledge of social media is an asset.
* Knowledge of the higher education sector in Switzerland and internationally.
* Ability to adapt quickly to change.
* Strong sense of diplomacy.
* Excellent communication skills and sociability.
* Comfortable using social media.
* Strong persuasive and negotiation skills.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
* Strong sense of confidentiality and adherence to data security protocols.
