R&D Engineer CCUS Products & Technologies - Maternity cover - Full Time - Oberwinterthur, Switzerland

We are looking for a R&D Engineer CCUS Products & Technologies to join our Technology & Innovation team within Chemtech division in Switzerland to help us take Sulzer to the next level.
During the six-month maternity cover, you will support the development of mass transfer equipment products and processes for CCUS, including pilot tests to validate solutions before full-scale implementation with internal and external customers.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
* Execute R&D projects to develop CCUS products and processes according to Stage & Gate process, manage project schedules
* Independently plan and execute tests with lab and pilot infrastructure to evaluate the performance and scalability of new CCUS products and processes in close relation with internal stakeholders
* Assess, handle, and mitigate risks associated with product development and pilot testing, including technical and safety risks
* Develop and evaluate ideas for new products or processes in the area of responsibility, assist in idea generation and IP filing, contribute to the creation of design guidelines and tools
* Collaborate closely with other T&I units, safety, engineering, and manufacturing teams, and external partners such as universities
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Master’s degree in Chemical/Process Engineering or related technical fields
* 1-3 years of experience in project management, mass transfer component products and CCUS processes
* Proficient in data analysis (experience with Matlab, Solidworks, Labview is a plus)
* Reliable, with a high attention to accuracy and detail
* Fluency in English, German is an advantage
