Your role and responsibilities
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Supplier Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing supplier relationships and ensuring seamless integration of new products into our supply chain. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams to support new product development, ensuring supplier compliance with company standards, and optimizing supply chain processes. The work model for the role is onsite. You will be mainly accountable for:
* Technical Support and Assistance: Identify and resolve faults and supply issues related to power and signal electronics components.
* Laboratory Equipment Proficiency: Advanced use of laboratory instruments to test, diagnose, and validate electronic products.
* Collaborating with engineering, quality, and production teams to support new product development and introduction.
* Drafting First Article Inspection (FAI) reports and supporting the validation of new electrical, electronic, and mechanical components.
* Implementing best practices to enhance supplier performance and product quality as well as monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supplier integration and NPI activities.
Qualifications for the role
* Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience in Power Electronics, preferably in UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
* Fluency in English and Italian.
