As our Global Marketing Communications Manager, you will elevate our dsm-firmenich Beauty & Care brand's credentials rooted in innovation, sustainability, holistic beauty and wellbeing.
In this role you will be crafting and executing marketing communication campaigns that highlight the brand's commitment to cutting-edge solutions, environmentally responsible practices, and comprehensive wellbeing solutions. By collaborating with cross-functional, global/regional teams and leveraging market insights you will aim to strengthen the brand's global presence in the industry, reinforcing the brand's dedication to bringing progress to life, fostering customer loyalty, and ultimately supporting sales growth in the competitive beauty landscape.

Your key responsibilities:
As our Global Marketing Communications Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand narrative and driving engagement with both internal and external stakeholders. Your key areas of responsibilities include:
Communications Campaign Development:
1. Develop and implement global communication campaigns to support brand positioning, innovation launches and business growth objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional, internal, and external partners to ensure cohesive and consistent messaging across all marketing channels.
2. Manage external agencies and partners to deliver high-quality creative content that resonates with target audiences. Communication channels include digital, social media, website, email marketing, trade media, press releases, internal launch to global community, among others.
Global Events Project Lead:
1. Taking ownership of planning and executing key global events.
2. Developing event planning, overseeing logistics, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with brand objectives to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Beauty & Care HQ Customer Visits Communications Partner:
1. Act as our primary communications liaison for customer visits to our Beauty & Care HQ facilities.
2. Supporting the R&D team by showcasing our scientific expertise, highlighting our innovations and competitive edge, and creating a solid ‘House of Science beyond Wellbeing’ brand experience for our customers.
Cross-functional Project Collaboration:
1. Lead cross-functional MarCom collaborations, effectively engaging diverse teams across various functions, geographies and seniority levels to achieve project goals.
2. Coordinate and align efforts among stakeholders with distinct perspectives and expertise, ensuring cohesive and successful project outcomes.
Content Creation:
1. Create and oversee the development of compelling and engaging content, including press releases, blog posts, social media updates, email newsletters and marketing materials. Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone and style.
Communications Landscape and Analysis:
1. Conduct market research to identify relevant communication trends in the beauty industry to inform our communications strategy.
2. Analyze campaign performance data to measure effectiveness and optimize strategies for improved ROI.
Public Relations and Trade Media:
1. Own the deployment of our annual trade media plans.
2. Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets, influencers, and industry stakeholders.
3. Coordinate and manage assigned events, product launches, and media briefings to maximize brand/innovation launch exposure.

You bring:
1. A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field. A Master's degree in similar fields would be an advantage.
2. A minimum of 7 years’ experience in building digital communication campaigns at regional and/or global level. Ideally within the beauty or perfumery industry, and within a matrix organization. Demonstrated skills in collaborating with multi-cultural, cross-functional teams with different seniority levels, and across diverse geographic locations.
3. Understanding of digital marketing, social media, and content marketing strategies.
4. A creative mindset with strong analytical skills. Naturally innovative, creative, and resourceful in developing and executing communication plans. Proficient in editorial tasks with experience in content creation and storytelling.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for diverse audiences. Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and successfully solve problems.
6. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and being comfortable working in a hands-on, dynamic, fast-moving environment.
