Key Responsibilities:
1-Operational Forecasting:
- Monitor incoming data and generate exports for clients.
- Overseeing and adjusting forecasting models (rainfall-runoff).
- Ensuring the quality of operational forecasts and making necessary adaptations.
- Managing real-time data, client content on web platforms, and database verification.
- Participating in rotational on-call duty (every 3 weeks, with flexible remote weekend hours).
2-Client Subscription Management:
- Acting as the main point of contact for subscribed clients, managing relationships independently.
- Improve forecasting models and lead R&D modeling tasks for client-specific projects.
3-Technical Mandates:
- Conducting various projects in hydrology and hydraulics, including simulations and analysis using specialized software.
- Developing new analysis tools, generating reports, and creating geographic visualizations through GIS.

Profile Required :
Education:
Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Physics from a leading technical university.
Technical Skills:
- Strong foundation in hydrology, urban drainage, and hydraulic modeling.
- Proficiency in GIS tools (QGIS preferred).
- Solid programming skills, particularly in Python and C#.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and general IT knowledge.
Languages:
- Fluent in German is a must (Swiss-German is a plus).
- Fluent in English is a must
- Professional proficiency in French is a plus.
Other Requirements:
Must already reside in Switzerland. Candidates requiring work or residency permit sponsorship are not eligible.
