To support our continued growth, we are looking for a:
Senior Project Manager (Integrated Photonics)
The purpose of this position is to manage the interface between the our customers foundry partner for the installation of new customer specific process architectures, process modules and improvement projects.
Tasks
Responsible for the End-to-End Project Management for the installation of new customer specific process architectures, process modules and improvement projects, this includes:
* Planning, scheduling and resource allocation in close collaboration with the external partners.
* Ensure that the tight timelines are met and develop mitigation solutions in case of risk of delays
* Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring financial targets are met and cost-saving opportunities are identified.
* Identifying, assessing, and developing mitigation plans for technical and operational risks for the projects.
* Work closely with technology, operations, sales and external partners to ensure alignment on technology development goals and timelines.
* Communication to the internal and external stakeholders with regular updates on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
* Ensure that the project resources, including personnel and technology, are effectively managed and allocated to meet project deliverables.
* Collaborating with QA teams to ensure that the photonic processes meet required specifications and quality standards before transitioning to operations.
Requirements
* Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related field. Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) is preferred.
* 5+ years of experience in project management within the semiconductor industry
* Strong understanding of semiconductors manufacturing processes, familiarity with silicon photonics or III-V semiconductor materials is a plus.
* Proven track record of managing complex technology development projects from inception to completion.
* Experience with agile methodologies in managing technology development projects is a plus. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or similar is desirable.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to coordinate cross-functional and distributed teams and with external partners, customers or vendors with excellent interpersonal skills, fostering a team-oriented, collaborative work environment.
* Experience in customer interaction and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to articulate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with rapidly evolving technology landscapes and shifting priorities.
