We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to support one of our clients based in Zug. The individual will be required to execute category strategies and activities and work in close collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure supply quality and continuity. The position will be measured based on total value creation: financial performance, quality, service and compliance adherence.
Responsibilities:
1. Drive the Procurement vision: shaping supplier solutions that will transform healthcare.
2. Sourcing: Ensure execution of category strategies and activities in collaboration with key stakeholders for reducing total costs of externally purchased materials, goods and services and improving levels of quality, service and value to the Business.
3. Change Management: Work with cross-functional teams to efficiently manage supplier changes, ensuring supply reliability and continuity.
4. Contracting: Systematically and efficiently manage contract creation, approval, administration and compliance to maximize financial and operational performance and minimize risk.
5. Business Engagement: Manage the needs and expectations of the Business to drive satisfaction while ensuring compliance to procurement standards and alignment with procurement strategies.
6. Procurement Strategy & Enablement: Develop and maintain the strategic direction for the Procurement function, ensure alignment to strategic goals and standards and effectively manage the enabling tools and technology required across the function.
7. Supplier Relationship Management: Manage the interactions with critical organizations that supply the goods and services including relationship building, data review and analysis, performance management and development and improvement.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor degree, MBA desirable - Preferred Area of Study: Business, life sciences or related field.
2. Ability to accomplish projects through interpersonal skills, leadership style and broad operational expertise is required.
3. Strong level of proficiency with core Procurement skills (e.g., supplier management and performance, supply market analysis, Category Management, Procurement Excellence, etc.).
4. Demonstrated project management and leadership experience in managing cross functional/cross company projects is required.
5. Demonstrated ability to make difficult decisions in a timely fashion is required.
6. Planning and organizational skills are required.
7. Analytical skills required to perform data analyses in support of sourcing strategy.
8. Negotiation and relationship management experience required.
9. Ability to think strategically to drive end-to-end value is required.
10. Strong business acumen is required.
11. Great presentation and communication skills are required.
