Job Purpose
The Spa Sales Associate is responsible for driving service and retail sales to maximize spa revenue and achieve high guest satisfaction in line with MSC Cruises policies and procedures, under the supervision of the SPA Manager.
Key Accountabilities:
* To ensure spa retail and service sales through guest interaction, hosting activities, and conducting wellness consultations.
* To manage the spa boutique/spa retail area, greeting guests, and assisting with correct setup, merchandising, and inventory management.
* To execute regular wellness and spa events as per company procedure, including setup, script, and promotional offers.
* To provide skincare/body care/hair care consultations, promoting service and retail solutions.
* To support onboard therapists and technicians in closing retail sales.
* To assist the spa reception in upselling, upgrading, and closing service packages.
* To execute product knowledge and retail techniques training sessions for the spa team.
* To support spa operations as requested by the SPA Manager.
Qualifications:
* Advanced – Product knowledge (Skincare, Body care, Hair care)
* Proficient speaking, reading, and writing skills in English; knowledge of other languages such as German, Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Russian, or Chinese is a plus.
* High School Graduate or equivalent.
* Up-selling and cross-selling skills.
* Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
* Computer Literacy.
