Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled engineer to join our Spine R&D department at Medacta International. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading projects and ensuring objectives are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design Development: Model and detail implant and instrumentation designs using SolidWorks, perform tolerance analysis, and prepare documentation for industrialization.
* Prototyping and Testing: Develop and test implants and instruments prototypes.
* Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with internal departments (Marketing, Production, Quality, and Regulatory affairs) and external partners.
* Documentation and Approval: Prepare and submit documentation describing product design concepts, attributes, performance, and project status.
* Leadership and Management: Manage and lead the documentation and approval process for the Design History File for assigned projects.
Required Skills:
Hard Skills:
* Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical or Biomechanical Engineering.
* At least 2 years of experience in the medical device industry or Design Mechanical company.
* Excellent knowledge of CAD systems (Solidworks), definition of tolerances, and preparation of technical drawings.
* Familiarity with design control documentation for Medical implants (e.g., Risk Analysis, Verification/Validation, Design Transfer).
* Fluency in English and Italian language.
