GBTS Engineering Project Manager

Responsibilities:
* Create and maintain project plans and schedules based on inputs such as WBS/WBE and estimate efforts, including delivery schedules provided by suppliers.
* Define detailed activity planning, including project reviews based on mandated engineering processes (ISO 15288 for System Engineering and ISO 12207 for Software Engineering).
* Chair engineering review meetings, capturing decisions and assigning actions/tasks using tools such as Jira and BigPicture.
* Coordinate communication among GBTS engineering teams to ensure tasks are conducted as planned and defined KPIs can be measured.
* Coordinate communication with production engineering to ensure correct planning and delivery of fabricate components (e.g. parts and components).
* Manage identified suppliers ensuring deliverables are in line with necessary timing and costs are allocated.
* Support estimation activities for timelines and costs of new projects.
Requirements:
* Engineering master degree, preferably in software electronic or aeronautical engineering.
* At least five years of proven working experience in engineering project management for design and development of integrated software and hardware systems, e.g. for automotive or aviation industry.
* Solid knowledge of system engineering processes and standards (e.g. ISO 15288 or equivalent).
* Proficiency in project management practices and procedures as well as project management tools like Microsoft Project, BigPicture, or similar.
* Excellent social and communication skills with fluency in English (C1) both spoken and written.
* Ability to perform under tight deadlines and pressure, prioritizing tasks with a structured approach and working equally well in teams or individually.
