Job Description Summary
GE Vernova stands at the forefront of developing highly efficient combined cycle power plants, and we're looking for talented individuals to join our “Plant Operability & Design" team.
The Plant Operability & Design team has the concept and design responsibility for the water steam cycle as well as for the overall plant integration and control. The team duties include defining operating & control concepts, functional equipment specifications, and control narratives for system & plant control. It serves R&D as well as project execution. It performs dynamic simulations and provides technical sales support including concept verification and functional guarantee definition.
In this team, as a “Combined Cycle System Engineer”, you will play a crucial role in plant integration, mainly for projects in the execution stage but also for R&D programs. Your involvement will span from verifying plant concepts at project start, defining key design parameters for the Water/Steam Cycle including HRSG, through specifying system and plant control, and finally supporting the site commissioning team before transitioning the plant to commercial operation.
