Job Description
The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in aligning CERN's financial and human resources with its ambitious scientific mission. Reporting directly to the Director-General, they will be responsible for bringing strategic insight, innovative thinking, and forward-looking approach to resource management.
Main Tasks:
* Exercising collegial responsibility with the Directorate for the general management of the Organization.
* Providing professional advice to the Director-General and senior management on financial and human resources matters.
* Overseeing the planning, organisation, and coordination of all CERN's financial and human resources activities.
Qualifications
Experience:
* Extensive management and administration experience at a senior level.
* Experience in interactions and negotiations with high-level public-sector and private partners.
* Experience in formulating policies and strategies for submission to governing bodies.
Technical Competencies:
