Liebherr's Business Unit-Axial Piston Machines (BU-AxM) is a successful part of an internationally renowned family business. The BU-AxM develops and manufactures high-performance components in mechanical and hydraulic drive technology at two sites: Ettlingen near Karlsruhe and Bulle, Fribourg.
Your Responsibilities
* You are responsible for simulating the static and dynamic behavior of rotating groups and control systems of axial piston machines using 1D simulation with Amesim software.
* Conduct 3D finite element method simulations to analyze strength, deformation, and surface pressures of load-bearing components.
* Validate your simulation models using test results.
* Closely collaborate with design and hydraulic testing teams.
Your Profile
You have completed an engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master of Science, Dipl.-Ing., PhD).
Possess extensive expertise in hydraulic or mechanical drives and components.
Several years of experience in simulating drive components, preferably in hydrostatic drives or piston machines.
Strong affinity for development, design, and testing.
Highly developed analytical skills.
Fluent in both German and English.
