We are looking for a Junior Legal Counsel for our Headquarters in Novazzano, Switzerland.
The Junior Legal Counsel will be responsible for offering legal guidance and support to Inpeco, will work directly with the General Counsel and will provide legal advice on various matters including contracts, litigation, data privacy, intellectual property and corporate governance.
Main responsibilities:
* Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, including non-disclosure agreements, distribution and supply agreements, and service agreements.
* Provide support in managing data privacy matters, as well as intellectual property matters, including trademarks and patents.
* Draft legal memoranda on a wide range of legal issues and key position summaries, supporting the preparation of legal documents and presentations for internal stakeholders.
* Deliver legal advice to internal clients as well as assist the management in taking decisions by issuing clear risk assessments.
* Conduct legal research on topics relevant to the healthcare sector and the company's operations.
* Collaborate with internal departments to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations also in cooperation with other relevant teams.
* Maintain legal documentation up to date, ensuring timely updates and accessibility.
* Monitor and track relevant legal and regulatory developments impacting the business.
We are looking for candidates with these skills:
* Law degree from an accredited law school
* Excellent English knowledge (C1)
* Basic knowledge of international contract law, comparative law, privacy law, intellectual property law, corporate law
* Highly motivated to work in a performance-oriented environment and ability to work independently
* Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a multicultural environment
Nice to have:
* Admission to the bar
* Experience working with an international law firm or in-house
* Legal English course
* Additional language (Italian, Spanish, French, German)
* Experience in biomedical automation, healthcare, or pharma.
