Your role
* Drive the Architecture & Design phase in context of the onboarding of an additional booking centers to the WM ecosystem (DB2 z/OS) and owning the Architecture & Design for the migration/onboarding components including reporting and orchestration.
* Lead the Architecture & Design workshops and collaborate & negotiate with relevant stakeholders (CTO, DISO etc) for sustainable and reusable solutions that fit the UBS system landscape.
* Design sustainable solutions catering to functional and non-functional requirements as per the UBS standards & guidelines and own the technical solutions for the migration/onboarding and maintain the lifecycle in the UBS specific inventory tools.
* Document the E2E architecture & design for the migration and ensure that team members (designers, developers etc) understand and follow.
* Design the Migration Platform deployment that supports the continuous migration. Define & own the environment strategy for the Migration Platform for On-Prem and Cloud setups.
* Design the automated release & deployment processes leveraging the standard UBS Tech. Stack (GitLab, Maven, Ansibles, Rex etc).
* Work with the development team to ensure proper implementation of design.
* Partner with technical experts across the organization.
* Take the role of a leader and share best practice as a key knowledge holder.
Your team
You’ll be working for the Migration Platform team in Switzerland. We are a core team with broad experience in UBS specific data migration and business onboarding programs, covering several profiles like Business Analysts, Project Managers, Developers and Release Managers. The goal is to ensure permanent readiness of the Capability to conduct (to a certain extend) parallel onboarding under limited duration and costs by re-use of experienced minds and proven methods and tools.
Your expertise
* Experience in complex data migration projects involving ETL processes & components.
* Migration process orchestration / reporting and reconciliations.
* DB design for functional and performance.
* Informatica Tool Suite and PowerExchange for z/OS.
* Mainframe Service Calls for data sourcing and loading onto the WM target platform.
* Large volumes of data (Hundreds of millions / parallel and bulk loads).
* Expert skills in designing and setting up the migration platform with a combination of UBS and vendor solutions.
* Right sizing the infrastructure (on-prem & cloud for optimal performance).
* Designing the interfaces for optimal performance and availability.
* Knowledge of networks and technical infrastructure as per the UBS standard technical stack.
* Setup automated Release & Deployment processes leveraging the standard UBS technology stack.
* Expert skills and hands-on experience in Informatica Tool Suite.
* Informatica PowerCenter / Informatica Data Developer (Dynamic Mapping) / Dynamic SQLs / PowerExchange on z/OS DB2 / PowerBI, MicroStrategy.
* Expert skills and hands-on experience in DB2 z/OS and other databases (Oracle, SQL Server).
* Designed e2e solution for complex migration projects for all aspects of data migration (sourcing, transformation, load to target etc).
* A broad banking knowledge with focus on WM basics (contracts, accounts, instructions, legal documents, waivers), Financing (credits, loans, collaterals, etc.), Communication channels (e-banking, secure messaging), CRM (general knowledge on how a CA works). WM Advisory / Investment Management (contracts, investor profile, PM processes, investment advisory process).
