About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich within the Groups & Events Sales Department in Zurich, the Groups & Events Sales Trainee provides administrative support to the Groups & Events Sales Team, ensuring smooth operations and efficient coordination.

YOUR TASKS
As Groups & Events Sales Trainee, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
* Administrative duties such as processing inquiries, preparing offers, and maintaining customer data.
* Communicating with clients and internal departments to coordinate event details.
* Assisting in the preparation and follow-up of events, including creating schedules and guest lists.
* Attending meetings and supporting internal project organization.
* Collecting and analyzing customer feedback after events.
* Supporting the team with general administrative tasks in the Sales & Events department.
YOUR PROFILE
As Groups & Events Sales Trainee, we expect from you:
* Enrolled as a student in a Swiss hotel management school.
* First experience in the hospitality or event industry is an advantage but not mandatory.
* Strong organizational skills and good time management.
* Communicative, open-minded, and a team player.
* Confident use of MS Office and ideally some experience with hotel software.
* Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
* Independent, structured working style with great attention to detail.
