Responsibilities
1. Monitoring high-risk transactions inpliance with anti-money laundering and terrorist financing regulations (Swiss AMLA, OBA-FINMA, CDB20).
2. Handling daily alerts involving sanctions and embargoes, including payment filtering (Firco Continuity) and correspondent bank inquiries related to sanctions.
3. Performing various controls related to AML activities including name screening and correspondent bank requests. Acting as an advisor to the Front Office.
4. Interacting frequently with the Front Office and various internal stakeholders, as well as presenting to AMLmittees.
5. Taking charge of various ad hoc projects relating to the team's activities in collaboration with the management of the Client Monitoring team.
6. Guiding and providing support to junior staff in their work and providing ongoing training.
7. Carrying out and following up on all necessary clarification processes.
Your profile
8. Between five and eight years' experience in a similarpliance position in a private bank in Switzerland.
9. A master's degree or relevant experience in private banking; Certificate inpliance Management an asset.
10. Strong interest in regulatory issues and the AML field. Very good knowledge of the Swiss AMLA, the OBA-FINMA and the Swiss Banks' Code of Conduct, as well as related jurisprudence.
11. Excellentmand of French and English; other languages would be a plus.
12. Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
13. Flexible and conscientious with broad knowledge; able tomunicate precisely and distil important information.
14. Able to show discretion and handle confidential issues in an appropriate manner.
15. Team player and stress resistant.
16. Able to handle the material and formal aspects relating to KYC/KYT reviews.
17. Must be resident in Switzerland.
