Your role in the team:
As a Sales Account Executive, you will be ensuring agreed targets and extending value add post conversion by proactively building relationships with new clients, as well as maximizing revenue opportunity from our active and dormant clients' base – in compliance with local regulations and internal rules. You will manage own accounts autonomously, handle complex sales scenarios with guidance from others and build strong client relationships.
Job responsibilities
CONVERSION
1. Meet and beat headline quarterly target and primary KPIs by making a high number of outbound calls to prospects who have expressed an interest in IG.
2. Proactively build relationships with new clients who have recently registered with IG to help them get started and ensure a best-in-class experience.
3. Demonstrate impeccable active listening skills on every call, listening with intent to understand and support prospects in their first steps with IG.
4. Collect account opening documentation, support leads with administrative tasks and steps to complete their application.
5. Communicate and collaborate with Account Opening team and Compliance.
6. Collaborate in content creation to educate clients (educational videos, webinars, etc) and optimize conversion rate.
7. Inform clients so they can create tailored solutions from a range of options to meet individual needs.
REACTIVATION
1. Proactively seek reactivation from lapsed clients through outbound calls.
RETENTION
1. Develop a bespoke catch-up strategy and journey with new clients to ensure best-in-class support and experience and limit early months attrition.
2. Co-moderate in-house webinars and seminars on a regular basis.
3. Call out exercises to invite clients and prospects to events, seminars, etc.
Essential skills and qualifications
1. Experience in a sales role and/or roles within a target-driven environment – high volume, telephone sales, commission-driven reward.
2. Experience in sales within a regulated environment would be a strong advantage.
3. Experience in selling financial products would be an advantage.
4. Fluency in German and English is compulsory.
5. An entrepreneur mindset, proactive, can-do attitude.
6. Personal experience of trading derivatives, ETP products, shares, and/or other investments would be beneficial.
7. Knowledge of any other language required in the country would be a strong plus.
8. A passion for financial markets and growing a career in finance.
9. Understanding the importance of collaboration and being driven to be the best in what they do.
