Operations Manager, Worldwide Operations
Our team is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of our Sort Center's functional areas. This includes Inbound, Sortation, and Outbound operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in people development, budgeting, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement staffing plans, quality initiatives, and process change projects to drive business results.
* Lead and manage a team of Area Managers, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
* Foster positive employee relations and develop leadership bench strength within the Fulfillment Center.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build support and resources for projects and initiatives.
* Address operational and personnel issues affecting the functional area.
A Day in the Life:
This role involves working closely with internal stakeholders, including Inbound, Outbound, PS, Sorting, L&D, LP, Quality, and PXT teams. You will also interact with external customers and agencies, such as ACES, S&OP, and CF Team, to resolve escalations and improve customer experience.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
* 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
* 2 years of Strong Operations Management Proficient in Data Analysis.
* 5+ years Operations Management experience in manufacturing, production, distribution environment or related industry.
* Supervisory responsibility for a minimum of 100 hourly employees.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation logistics.
