Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement standardized machining repair processes, adhering to approved data and quality standards for NC/CNC Milling, Turning, Grinding, and EDM processes.
* Support operations in daily duties, providing tailored training as needed.
* Conduct process reliability audits, diagnose failures, and develop sustainable solutions.
* Promote the introduction of new repairs and renew approvals.
* Propose process improvements and lead their implementation.
* Drive innovative solutions to technical challenges, enhancing yield, cost, quality, or efficiency.
* Investigate and implement novel process technologies.
* Establish machining process metrics.
* Manage projects, create datasets, visualize, and analyze machining processes and procedures.
* Provide support to Operations, Repair Engineering, Tooling Engineering, and Shop Engineering as needed.
Required Profile
* Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* Experience in manufacturing and/or maintenance of rotating equipment.
* Background in CNC machining, specifically milling, turning, grinding, and EDM processes.
* Proficiency in CNC programming on Siemens 840D & ONE and Heidenhain iTNC 530 & TNC 640.
* Project management, statistics, and data analysis experience.
* Proactive and flexible character with strong achiever mentality and ability to work autonomously.
* High safety, quality, and cost awareness.
* Fluent English (C1 level), German (B1 level) is an asset.
