While the business grew significantly over the past years, we still see a lot of additional potential in the Swiss Institutional market thanks to an enlarged product offering, excellent track records and our very solid market reputation as a performance driven active asset manager. To support further growth, we are searching for a Berne-based Senior Sales with a strong focus on acquiring new clients.
What would your role be?
* Responsibility for institutional market coverage in the Bern region
* Ensure structured sales process for client lead generation, follow up and conversion (systematic management of the sales pipeline)
* Systematically acquire new clients
* Manage ongoing relationships and develop them further
* Build-up of an in-depth knowledge of our investment offering
* Oversee RFP and tender processes and ensure that client requirements are optimally covered (in collaboration with dedicated support departments)
Additional responsibilities:
* Contribute to planning regional roadshows and marketing campaigns in alignment with the overall marketing plan
* Share and further develop Vontobel’s best-in-class client service standards
* Provide constructive feedback on peer group developments and trends
What are we looking for?
* Relationship Manager with proven track record in institutional client acquisition with at least 4 years of sales experience
* Strong sales skills and hunting desire
* University degree in business, economics or finance or similar education
* Good knowledge of the institutional market in Berne including pension funds, foundations and insurance companies
* Existing network with institutional clients in Berne
* Experience in selling ESG strategies would be a plus
* Ability to quickly adopt to new situations
* Strong entrepreneurial spirit and commercial mindset
* Ability to work both independently and as a team player
* Strong general investment product knowledge
* Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
* German (or Swiss German) native language and excellent English (verbal and written).
