Reporting to the Merchandising Director, the Merchandiser will develop and execute the product strategy, collaborating with the Design and Sourcing teams to create RTW collections for both genders collections. These collections will align with the brand’s strategic pillars, design vision, margin goals, quality standards, and market needs across all regions.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Product Planning & Strategy
* Support the Merchandising Director to create and execute the merchandising line plan and assortment to drive business growth.
* Conduct thorough market and competitor analyses to identify opportunities for product innovation and pricing strategies across markets.
* Analyse sell-in and sell-out data across countries and channels, creating detailed seasonal recaps and insights to identify growth areas.
Communication & Tools Development
* Develop and maintain merchandising tools such as line plans, visual line sheets, GTM sell-in tools, and fit guides to communicate assortment details to product and buying teams.
* Act as the key contact for product-related inquiries from DTC, E-commerce, and Wholesale teams.
* Assist in creating content for training guides to enhance product knowledge for DTC and Wholesale Key Partners.
Analysis & Reporting
* Monitor SKU count and track adoption rates, ensuring alignment with KPIs and business goals.
* Create seasonal analysis reports and maintain a comprehensive archive of merchandise data to support cross-functional processes.
Support for Cross-functional Teams
* Coordinate SMS ordering and communicate any sample discrepancies to all relevant teams, including Commercial, Marketing, E-commerce, and Splendid.
* Actively participate in milestone meetings such as proto reviews, GSM, forecasting, and line editing sessions.
* Collaborate with Marketing and Training teams to deliver relevant product content and insights.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Minimum 3 years of experience in RTW industry.
* Comprehensive knowledge of the apparel market and emerging trends, with a strong flair for fashion.
* Commercially driven, with a proven ability to identify business opportunities and optimize processes for efficiency.
* Analytical mindset with a result-oriented and self-motivated approach.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a clear understanding of the product development process.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
* Language proficiency: Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional European languages are a plus.
* Team player with a collaborative attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to travel as required.
