Job Description: For our client, one of the leading pharmaceutical companies, we are looking for a candidate with strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems, experience with cloud services and container orchestration, and an interest in systems engineering.

• Home Office: max. One day per week, onsite required (laboratory environment)
• Team: 15-20 people
Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Support IT integration in solution environments, including laboratory instruments, cloud and on-premise configurations.
• Design and execute test cases for IT product validations. Mainly manual test campaigns in the lab with room for including automated validations.
• Maintain and optimize testing infrastructure, including virtual machines, edge, and cloud configurations.
• Perform root cause analysis, documentation of test results, manage issue resolution and share outcomes to stakeholders.
• Collaborate across different system component development teams.
• Operate and manage laboratory instruments for validation purposes.
Must Haves:
• University degree or comparable in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (GitLab/GitHub with CI/CD pipelines; API development and testing (Postman); Basic SQL knowledge for database queries; Scripting languages: Python, PowerShell, Bash)
• Working experience with cloud services and container orchestration (Experience with Kubernetes, Flux, Docker, Terraform for IaC; AWS Practitioner level; Virtual machines and containerization)
• Interested in systems engineering (no previous experience required)
• Experience and domain knowledge in the diagnostics industry
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. German is an advantage.
