The Bern Retail Store is a vital resource for members of the Church, offering gospel resources and sacred clothing.
Job Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality customer service by possessing extensive product knowledge to assist customers.
* Respond to customer inquiries regarding curriculum, proper fitting of clothing, or similar complexities.
* Develop cashiering skills and product knowledge during a brief learning period, typically one to three months.
* Maintain up-to-date understanding of new products added to inventory to adequately serve customers.
* Offer personal-fitting services at Beehive Clothing Distribution Centers.
* Perform housekeeping duties to ensure the facility, equipment, and storage areas are in good condition.
* Serve patrons by responding to questions and finalizing sales of selected products.
* Assist patrons in ensuring proper fit and product usage, requiring an understanding of variations in styles, fabrics, properties, and cleaning methods.
* Address questions regarding curriculum ordering procedures or content.
* Operate the point-of-sale terminal with proficiency.
* Resolve customer problems by employing quality customer service techniques.
* Contribute to inventory and cycle counts as needed.
* Communicate effectively with patrons in German, French, Italian, and English, accommodating international sizing differences.
* Assist in creating product and inventory displays as required.
Requirements:
* High School Education or equivalent.
* Retail Sales and Customer Service experience.
* Excellent communication and people skills.
* BASIC MATH AND COMPUTER SKILLS PREFERRED.
* Availability to work scheduled shifts from Tuesday to Saturday, including bank holidays.
* Ability to communicate effectively in at least two languages: German, French, English, and Italian. Willingness to learn a third language.
* Residency in Switzerland.
