We are looking for research collaborators with a strong interest and substantial experience in research, including publication and curatorial work. The position is a fixed-term contract for one year, renewable, with primary work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, starting in April 2025 or to be defined. The details and specifications of the position will be defined according to the candidate's profile and experience.
Project background The Chair of Architecture and Construction, led by Prof. Adrien Comte and Adrien Meuwly, proposes a critical approach towards architecture and construction, considering the existing, available substance at the core of every project. By developing tailored tools and adopting a transdisciplinary approach, the chair aims to address contemporary construction and territorial challenges. The Chair's methodology is based on a clear focus on hands-on constructions.

To complete our team, we are looking for research collaborators to contribute to the following activities of the Chair:
Research Development: Exploring evolving problematics on critical construction, based on a transdisciplinary approach and the building of common knowledge with the Chair's teaching activities.
Publications: Developing, compiling, structuring, and presenting the Chair’s research through various publications and articles.
Curation: Overseeing and curating content for exhibitions, or relevant academic initiatives in alignment with the Chair’s research focus.
Organizing and Coordinating Events: Planning and coordinating workshops, seminars, project visits, and lectures.
Profile Master's degree in architecture or equivalent (PhD is a plus)
At least 3 years professional and/or academic experience in a field related to research
Substantial experience in publication and/or curatorial work
Fluent in English and German - knowledge of French and/or Italian is welcome
Knowledge of construction, structure, detailing, technical drawing
