Position Overview:
An opportunity to contribute to a growing team primarily focused on day-to-day inventory management and logistics of physical metals. This role also involves assisting in the development and improvement of the firm's processes and procedures.
1. Manage physical metals inventory
2. Collaborate with the Investment team on new physical purchase and sale contracts
3. Verify documentation related to physical metal contracts
4. Prepare and review contracts
5. Provide inventory reporting and updates to the Investment team
6. Maintain documentation relating to physical contracts and inventory
7. Arrange inspections of inventory
8. Arrange logistics for the movement of metal globally
Required Qualifications:
* Experience in commercial operations and logistics for physical metals
* Understanding of physical metals markets
* Familiarity with LME and CME metals products
* Demonstrate proficiency in calculations supporting various products within your asset class coverage
* Understand the importance of teamwork and fostering a productive work environment
* Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills
* Contribute to system and process improvements, as well as new business initiatives
* Stay up-to-date with relevant technology and applications required for success in this role
