We are looking on behalf of our Swiss partner for a live-in junior nanny to join a warm and welcoming Swiss family in summer 2025. They have three children (a boy aged 10 and twins aged 7) and are expecting newborn twins in June. The family is looking for a kind, responsible, and enthusiastic nanny who enjoys working with children and is eager to gain more experience in a loving and supportive household.
The main focus of the role will be caring for the older children, assisting with morning and after-school routines, organising activities, and supporting the parents with light household tasks related to the children. While the mother will be on maternity leave for six months, she will need an extra pair of hands to help balance the needs of the whole family. This is a mix of sole and shared care, making it a fantastic opportunity for a junior nanny to develop confidence and skills in a dynamic family setting.
The family lives in a beautiful lakeside home near Biel/Bienne and Neuchâtel, surrounded by nature yet close to nearby towns. They offer private accommodation in a self-contained studio with a separate entrance, bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. The ideal candidate should be able to drive, be a confident swimmer, and speak English or French. Working hours are flexible, starting at 30 hours per week, with the potential for more hours in the future. Salary will be discussed based on experience.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior nanny looking to gain experience in a warm and active family while enjoying the benefits of living in a stunning location. If you are interested, please send your CV and a brief introduction about yourself – we would love to hear from you!
