Position Summary:
The Territory Sales Associate is responsible for effectively supporting the sales revenue and product mix requirements for the territory. This effort includes, but is not limited to, supporting clinical fulfilment of Globus Medical procedures in the territory while driving the development of relationships with key spine surgeon and hospital customers. This individual will also acquire clinical competency skills with all Globus Medical products to meet and exceed the standards for the role of Territory Sales Associate in an elite sales force.
Essential Functions:
* Develop thorough knowledge and understanding of all Globus Medical products and major competitors.
* Cover surgical cases with the goal of providing the highest level of value to the Operating Room staff and patients.
* Provide Neuromonitoring support:
* Pre-operative consultation with surgeon regarding structures at risk and modalities to be monitored, and accurate placement of stimulating and recording electrodes accordingly.
* Intra-operative interaction with surgical team to communicate monitoring data in accordance with the Company’s and/or Hospital’s policies and guidelines.
* Provide formal communication of customer needs to the sales team for the purpose of improving existing solutions and finding tailored offerings to hospitals and surgeons customers.
* Establish trusting relationships with key spine surgeon customers.
* Develop and implement sales and marketing related activities including preparation of & participation in surgeon’s consultations, road shows and congresses.
* Participate in the training of OR staff and surgeons to the Globus Medical procedures (product workshops, cadaver labs).
* Assist the Account Manager on field calls for assigned geography and address any problems that arise in the account.
* Act as the intermediate between Globus Medical Logistics and Customer Service Teams and the hospitals.
* Ensure that all required Globus Medical material is ordered and available for every surgical case.
* Comply with individual hospital regulations and requirements upon which introduction of products will depend.
* Provide timely reporting on a variety of topics including T&E expense reports, surgical case feedback, sales performance/penetration, market feedback, competitive activities, new target accounts, ideas regarding sales growth and new product development opportunities.
* Adhere to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies. Ensure compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
* Operating room experience preferred (either as a hospital employee or as an external partner).
* Experience in hospital education or hospital sales preferred.
* Affinity to the hospital environment and identification with medical devices.
* Strong technical skills with an advanced understanding of human anatomy and basic medical procedures.
* Pleasure of consulting and coaching, as well as high service orientation.
* Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Organizational talent with advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
* High degree of independent, reliable, and proactive way of working.
* High level of integrity, ethics, and compliance.
* Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products.
* Ability to travel as necessary, which may include overnights and/or weekends.
* Driver’s License is required.
* Fluent in French and English, German a strong plus.
Physical Demands:
* Required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
* Required to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Required to possess specific vision abilities, including: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and capacity to adjust focus.
