As a boutique consulting firm, we are currently seeking a Senior Consultant – Sourcing (80% - 100%) for our Zurich office. Are you a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in sourcing? We're looking for individuals ready to bring their wealth of knowledge to consulting projects and mentor junior team members.
Your Responsibilities:
* Lead strategic sourcing (RFx) initiatives for key clients
* Manage the identification, selection, and evaluation of suppliers, leveraging extensive industry expertise
* Directly negotiate contracts with vendors, optimizing terms and maximizing value for the organization
* Craft comprehensive presentations, documentation, and reports to communicate strategic insights and recommendations effectively
* Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with organizational objectives
* Play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the sourcing department, driving continuous improvement
* Lead the implementation of sourcing tools and technologies to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
Your Profile:
* Bachelor's, Master's, or equivalent degree in a relevant field such as law, business, accounting, IT, engineering, or science
* At least 3 years of experience in consulting or strategic sourcing
* Proven track record of delivering high-quality results and driving business success
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
* Fluent in German (Swiss German preferred) and proficient in English
