The IT department of ODDO BHF is composed of approximately people group-wide.
In Switzerland, the IT department is composed of 5 persons, talented young people and experienced professionals. It is under the responsibility of the COO and works in close contact with all the departments of the Bank in Zurich, Geneva and Lausanne.
In this challenging position, you will be responsible for the functional readiness of the applications and technical system environment and its interfaces. You coordinate, control and monitor the service relationships with external service providers to whom Application Service Providing (ASP) of the banking software and Managed IT Services are outsourced.
ODDO BHF Switzerland is a long-time user of the Apsys Core Banking System. Various satellite Applications are Interfaced with the Core Banking, including CIM for the client Master file, the e-banking app of FNZ (previously New Access) and other well known tools.
1. Being responsible for the entire IT operation of the bank, in particular monitoring and ensuring the operational readiness of the bank system in cooperation with the service providers, you will grow your communication and management skills and increase your understanding of general banking activities in particular in the field of Private Wealth Management.
2. You will help Implement and coordinate software releases including testing
3. You will analyse and implement regulatory and functional requirements in the bank's applications
4. You will manage IT projects or be associated to the IT part of larger projects
5. You will prepare and maintain documentation and instructions required for business processes

6. Banking knowledge (processes, products, regulatory)
7. Degree in computer science or business informatics or similar education, banking apprenticeship welcome
8. Several years of experience in the areas of IT and banking
9. Advanced SQL knowledge
10. Knowledge of core banking systems
11. APSYS and CIM is an advantage
12. Structured and analytical mindset as well as conceptual and methodical skills
13. High degree of customer focus and team spirit
14. Initiative and willingness to take responsibility
15. Strong communication and organizational skills
16. Proficient German or French as well as very good written and spoken English skills
